Making technology work for clients while making a career for yourself

We are passionately committed to make a difference. We are highly motivated and not afraid to take responsibility. We love the diversity and dynamics of our environment and do not intend to stop learning every day.

Food
Bert Frowijn (30) recently became Office Director at Tebodin CCE in Deventer, the Netherlands. Tebodin CCE specializes in agricultural and food production and transport technology. ‘Feed and food’, as Bert summarizes. His latest project is the construction of a premix production plant for a large multinational babyfood producer. ‘With our specific knowledge and experience, and because of our involvement from concept to start-up, we were able to add a lot of value in this innovative project. If personal responsibility and overcoming professional challenges attract you, working at Tebodin will give a lot of satisfaction.’

Chemicals
Learning more about technology and management was the main personal motivation for Liu Hao (36) to come and work at Tebodin. He had been with a Chinese design institute for almost ten years before joining the Shanghai office in September 2007. ‘I was educated as a chemical and petrochemical engineer, and currently I am working as a process engineer on a debottlenecking project for a large chemical company. What I find particularly attractive here is the culture of sharing ideas and thinking aloud with a group of colleagues. There’s mutual respect between people with different experience levels and we have effective tools for knowledge exchange at our disposal. If you like being in charge and take personal initiatives, this is an environment in which you can really develop yourself.’

Automotive
In the Czech Republic, the car industry has been among the fastest growing market sectors in recent years. The geographical advantages are supplemented by the Czech manufacturing tradition and technically well-educated workforce. Automotive suppliers are following the main manufacturers, creating hotbeds of activity in several parts of the country, says Miroslav Jelinek (40), who joined Tebodin Czech Republic in 1996 and is now head of the Building Services department. ‘For me, the most interesting projects are those involving large installations. I am a heating engineer and my latest project is a new paint shop for the country’s largest car manufacturer. I designed the heating system, which includes a boiler room with a total capacity of 40 MW. The multidisciplinary projects are often challenging, but with good teamwork and supportive colleagues, you can take on anything.’
