Seed Breeding and R&D 

Trade and breeding in fruit and vegetable seeds is an established tradition in the Netherlands. However, for many years, breeding new and better varieties was a tedious matter of trial and error. The first results of biotechnology research in the 1980s finally predicted a bright future for the industry.
